Last night we gave a great First Time Home Buyer Seminar down at Cornerstone Mortgage. It was an excellent turnout and I know there were some very good questions by the crowd.
I wanted to show a slide that we use to illustrate the Home Buying Process. There are obviously a lot more bits and pieces that go along to the buying process, and that’s what your interviews with your Realtor and Mortgage Officer are for. Buying a home is something you can’t do from your computer desk, so make sure that you get the facts before you start looking too much online at listings.
When in doubt ask questions, and then ask more questions, and then ask your parents or friends or co-workers what they would ask; then ask MORE questions. The worst thing you can do when making the biggest financial decision in your life is to be silent, and assume things will go right.
