First Time Home Buyers Down Payment Assistance
Our Lending Partners over at Cornerstone Mortgage have done it again. Many First Time Home Buyers have trouble coming up with enough money to pay for a Down Payment, Closing Costs, and then fix up repairs as we are seeing in many Foreclosure properties around the Twin Cities.
Alec Grebis has a blog at The Mortgage Scoop and just shed a little light on this “fix-up” money available through Cornerstone Mortgage (1 of only 2 Lenders in the state with access to this program).
Read Alec’s article about First Time Buyers Fix-up Money, and also attend one of our Free First Time Buyer Seminars. Please Register for the seminar ahead of time so we have enough materials for everyone in attendance.
Thanks for reading!

I do not want to buy a home around the Twin City aera. I have a home in Pittsburgh, PA. I need money to fix up my home there. Can you help me?
@Lynn: I would search a couple mortgage companies in the Pittsburgh area and see what kind of programs are available for you. Most of the time there are neighborhood loans or grants you could take advantage of. Best of luck!

Thanks for blogging about this topic, Steve. I passed this info along to a client of mine who is in need of some creative solutions to match her finances to her desires. Important to spread the word!
