You may have heard the news break this week, and I wanted to let all the readers know that Congress is putting together a possible $15,000 home buyer credit, which may be included in the Economic Stimulus Package that Barack Obama’s administration is pushing through the House.

Remember, this is just proposed at the moment.  Expect things to change and develop over the next few weeks and months, but this may be the best news yet for the housing market in 2009.

For now, this would not just be for first time home buyers, but for everyone who purchases an owner-occupied property within the inclusion dates.

This is a great article which will answer some of your questions:

6 things to know about the $15,000 Credit

This may replace the current $7,500 Tax Credit which I wrote about previously.

Stay tuned for more details as they emerge, and email or call me with your questions.
